Relating to Physical Strengthening:
This is Saya, journaling my progress and reviewing how physical strengthening works as a complete beginner. Just a heads up, I haven’t casted any magic at all, so please remember this is my very first experience with magic.
The technique of casting the or, like, the act of processing magic. Like letting it flow through your body. It’s all correct, and all it takes is some focus.
For me, what helped was visualizing my opponent, and visualizing the body part that I was enhancing to turn into metal. Like literally pretending my skin was metal, and it would hit just as hard.
I think this result might vary from person to person, but I started off with super low magical energy, and it was like I hadn’t been using magic at all. I got kinda annoyed by the dummy and went a little bit crazy, but it was actually a really dangerous move, since I think the previous notes said that it could blow up an arm.
One extremely important thing that the tutorial didn’t mention was the fact that you need to balance your body. I was enhancing my fists, and because they were really sturdy and really fast, my body went spinning when I lost even a second of balance.
Make sure to visualize adding weight or counter force onto certain parts of your body in order to make sure you keep your stance and position consistent.
I haven’t really tried the gravity stuff that it mentioned, to be honest, I have no clue what it’s really talking about.
From the start of the paragraph, it makes it sound like its a method to increase your magical flow, but that’s not quite it.
I think what they’re talking about is adding something on top of your regular punches, but I haven’t been able to pinpoint what that’d look like. What I’m imagining though is a strong gust of wind or something like that, I’ll definitely stay updated on this topic as I keep practicing.
That’s it for now. Physical Strengthening was quite easy, I think it’s something that’s masterable pretty quickly as long as I don’t overdo it. I’m also trying to bulk up and build a bit of muscle whenever I can, so that my skinny arms don’t blow themselves up.
